Jesse Becker hails from Minneapolis,
Minnesota where his love for music started at
an early age watching his father play shows at
bars and venues throughout the midwest. He
remembers being around the band and crew
for pre-show and late night jam sessions.
Records such as Emmylou Harris, Steve Miller
Band, Merle Haggard, Skynyrd, The Eagles
were staples growing up in his household.
But music was not Jesse's first love. Oddly
enough for a short, skinny kid from the
suburbs, basketball was where he found his
passion. Jesse went on to earn an NCAA
division 1 scholarship to play at the University
of South Dakota, where he ended up as a top
10 all-time scorer in Coyote history. At the
same time of all of this happening, Jesse was
able to find a release off the court playing
After graduation, he moved home and landed
a front-man spot with the popular Minnesota-based band, Maiden Dixie. There he toured for 5 years, playing over 100 shows
per year, recording 3 studio albums, and
landing several songs on country radio
stations across the United States. Maiden
Dixie enjoyed much regional success as an
Jesse has shared several stages with national country acts such as Miranda Lambert, Jon Pardi, Kip Moore, Keith Urban, and many more.
Today, Jesse embarks on a new journey as an
independent country artist ready to craft a
new country sound (with a tip of the hat to
the legendary twang) to share with the world.
